China, Transition period 17th century An important pair of "gu" horn vases with five-colour Wucai decoration of outdoor figures in the upper part, the swollen central part decorated with a hundred children, and rocks and flowering branches in the lower part. Each with a French 19th century chased bronze gilt mount. One has a major accident and the neck has been restored.
