CHINA, 19th century A copper and polychrome enamel bowl on a predominantly blue background, decorated on the outside with 8 precious objects carried by lotuses, and on the inside with lotus scrolls around a central medallion, depicting a fish emerging from the waves. It has been transformed into a perfume burner with a tripod bronze base bearing the JIANGTAI mark, and a two-part lid in bronze and polychrome cloisonné enamels, the handles and grip formed by dragons. It stands on a wooden base carved with a dragon emerging from the clouds. Size of the bowl: Height 10 cm, Diameter 23.5 cm Damage, missing parts and deformations. Expert: Madame Anne Papillon d'Alton
