Pair of very large blue and white porcelain vases decorated over (almost) their entire height with birds on rocks amidst shrubs covered with multicoloured peonies (pink, red, green and brown - only the roses enamelled on the cover), The neck bears the inscription "painted in Jingdezhen, guiwei year (2003)", as well as a poem and four large characters "tian xiang - guo se", an expression to describe the admirable beauty of peonies or a woman, with two red seals.
