CHINESE TANG DYNASTY TERRACOTTA HORSE - TL TESTED Ca. AD 619 - 906 A Chinese terracotta horse. Depicted in a dramatic motion of moving its head, with a saddle cloth and saddle. The horse is moulded in a naturalisted manner, with its body painted using mainly red pigments, with details such as the maine and tail. This piece has been precisely dated using a Thermo Luminescence analysis carried out by Ralf Kotalla. The report will accompany the lot.
