CHINA/TIBET, Qing dynasty, 18th/19th century Statuette representing Hayagriva with three heads and six arms in partially gilded repoussé copper alloy, standing in pratyalidhasana and trampling snakes on a rounded rectangular lotus base, adorned with jewels and wearing a tiger skin at the waist, each face with a third eye and showing the fangs, the hair (removable) raised on the head from which emerge three horse heads, a double vajra under the base, remnants of polychromy (face and hair), containing offerings. Several attributes lost. H. 30 cm - W. 23.5 cm LDM
