The lid is topped by a moulded fretel mounted on hinges. Engraved on the inside rim: M.I.H. Turned wooden side handle. Lille jurisdiction hallmark 1745/46 (letter D). Repunched in the 19th century, 2nd title hallmark for the departments 1809-1819 and guarantee hallmark (different 72). Master goldsmith: Noël LEPLUS, received in 1713. H. 30 x W. 22 cm.
