Christian Peschke (1946 Bad Säckingen - 2017 Flintsbach) Abstract form Bronze, patinated in dark or green tones, rose-coloured marble base. Signed and numbered 1/2. Softly flowing, biomorphic, flat form, inspired by Hans Arp, mounted on a rod and square base. Peschke, who studied under Gerhard Gollwitzer at the Stuttgart Academy, initially settled in Spain as a freelance artist at the age of 35; he later lived in Merano and Bolzano, Bruckmühl and Flintsbach. Peschke has been represented at numerous exhibitions in Germany and abroad since the mid-1990s. Total h. 51.8 cm. Provenance: Estate liquidation of a southern German private collection - part I. Patinated bronze on marble base. Signed and numbered 1/2.
