Notes:
A music composer, he lived at the Hôtel de Massa in Paris and the Château de Franconville in Seine-et-Oise. On his death, Jean Régnier (Paris, 25 December 1875-Chaumes-en-Brie, 29 May 1946) became 4th Duke of Massa and Carrara, godson of the Empress Eugénie and the Prince Imperial, and married Odette de Boutray (Versailles, 27 June 1880-Chaumes-en-Brie, 18 January 1961) on 15 October 1903.
