CICERON. Tusculanæ quæstiones novissime. Venice, Benedetto & Agostino Bindoni, 1525. In-folio, bradel white half vellum with small corners, smooth spine titled in ink, marbled edges (Modern binding). Rare edition, accompanied by a commentary by Filippo Beroaldo and Ognibene de Lonigo. The text, framed by the commentary, is printed in Roman script; the index in Gothic. The title is printed in red Gothic and decorated with a woodcut borrowed from the Doctrinale of 1513. A woodcut appears at the head of each of the five books and numerous initials with a sifted background adorn the text.
Discreet dampstaining and scattered small brown spots.
