KIWI CIRCAGE - Clic-clac in lithographed sheet metal circa 1920. Good condition, minor oxidation, no longer makes the "clic-clac" sound as the small metal part on the back is cracked. Approximately 11 x 11 cm wingspan. "Kiwi" inscribed on the beak and both armpits. Representation of a kiwi holding a box. Kiwi is the brand name of a shoe polish, first launched and sold in Australia in 1906 by William Ramsay.1984, bought by the American multinational Sara Lee Corporation(source: lamalleapapa.com)
