During this time, he created a series of abstract works that poetically reflect the rugged coastal landscape of the Darß. Inspired by the interplay of wind, light and sea, the artist translated nature into rhythmic compositions of line, surface and colour - as a sensual condensation of a landscape that unfolds anew in abstraction.
