Classical Modernism Max Liebermann The Judenstraße in Amsterdam. 1906. Etching on wove paper. 19.4 x 24.3 cm (34.2 x 48 cm). Signed. - Occasional slight handling marks and brown stains in places, very slight crease in upper right corner, a few very slight traces of rubbing in right margin, small traces of mounting in upper two corners verso, overall good condition. Mounting, good overall. Quite excellent, in places marvellously burnished impression of the lively, multi-figure staggered motif, with wide margins. Very superb, mostly wonderfully burr-like impression with wide margin. - Published in: 'Max Liebermann.
