Large in-8, green morocco, triple gilt fillet, spine richly decorated with gilt and mosaic motifs, lavaliere morocco lining framed with gilt fillet, green moire endpapers, double endpapers, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine, chemise and slipcase sheathed in the same morocco (E. Maylander). First edition, printed in only 150 numbered copies on hollande, hors commerce, for friends of the author. Written for three and then four characters in 1905, in three acts, Partage de midi was not performed in a revised version until 16 December 1948 at the Théâtre Marigny by the Renaud-Barrault company under the direction of Simone Volterra.
