Large rectangular earthenware plate with iridescent glaze and metallic lustre, depicting two figures in bas-relief, symbolising one of the allegories of Dante's Paradise (from the third canticle of the Divine Comedy). Signed "M. Clément Massier", dated MCM (1900) and located "Golf-Juan" on the back.
