Personal effects box
Wood, bone and resin. Rectangular in shape, with a lid that opens with two metal rings acting as hinges. Mirror under the lid. Inside the box, an intermediate tray sits on five slots. The interior is upholstered in turquoise velvet. It stands on four ball feet and has two side handles. Decorated with marquetry and applied carved panels including two opposing two-headed eagles under the box and a farandole of seated nude children on the sides.
