Box In beech and softwood. Rectangular body with domed lid. Wide metal hinges and hook closure. Polychrome decoration of a radiating cross on a base with the three nails of the Crucifixion, surrounded by stars. The whole is set in a circle with a scalloped border and two flowers. Floral decoration on the other sides and on the front, a cockerel is represented on a vase with handles and is placed in a floral surround. 19th century H: 22 cm - W: 43.8 cm - D: 28 cm Condition: accidents, missing parts and repaints. Hinges replaced.
