Mezail armour consisting of a 2-part forged stamp with fluting, ribbed crest ending in a point, forged mezail with fluting perfectly aligned with the stamp, short one-piece chinstrap and gorgerin closing laterally to the right with a hook, brass rivets, pencil holder to the rear of the crest. Some minor metal damage to the stamp, one rivet missing. France, early 17th century.
