Dragoon helmet model 1858, brass bombs and trimmings stamped by the controllers, visor and neck cover lined with basane, leather turban covered with a felt headband imitating panther skin, crest with its "rain screen", aigrette holder with black horsehair puff, pencil holder, leather-lined brass ring chinstraps, wolf's-tooth basane inner cap, rear serial numbered, assigned to the 3rd Dragoons, old label stuck under the visor, "de St Sauveur", probably the name of the original owner, with scarlet plumeet with daffodil olive, h: 24 cm. Second Empire period. FAIR CONDITION
