Rare 1884 model kepi in madder cloth, dark blue headband without number, leather chinstrap, brass grenade buttons, basane inner cap with pastille marked Alphonse Hellbronner, Paris, dated 1899, canvas bottom stamped "Ministère de la Guerre", size 58, beautiful stamp of the commission of reception in white ink dated 1899, with label of the Ministry of War, year 1899 entitled "Képi d'infanterie avec carcasse et basane réduite, soldat", received by the commission of the deposit of the models on November 7, 1899, on the back wax stamp "Modèle type" and mention: "Modèle-type remis à M.
