COLLECTION OF BYZANTINE POTTERY GRENADES. Ca. AD 900 - 1300. A collection of three pottery grenades, including, from left to right: two acorn-shaped examples, each with a pointed base and a rounded shoulder topped with a domed pierced spout. Diagonal radiating lines surround the mouth, and a horizontal band of roundels encircles the shoulder. The third has a waisted body with incised parallel bands around the lower body and the shoulder.
