COLLECTION OF CHINESE NORTHERN WEI PAINTED TERRACOTTA FIGURES Ca. AD 386 - 534. A collection of three terracotta figures representing officials, each depicted standing with formal posture and hands held to the front. The figures wear long robes in shades of red and ochre, with visible traces of original pigment. Each face is modelled with narrow eyes, small red lips, and framed with black-painted hair.
