COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN FAIENCE AMULETS: HORUS HEAD AND PAIR OF WINGS. Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A collection of faience amulets, including, from left to right: a wing plaque moulded with layered flight feathers and drilled for attachment along the edges; a Horus falcon-head terminal in profile with incised eye and beak and a perimeter of sewing perforations; and a wing plaque matching the first with comparable feather detailing and fixing holes.
