COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN FAIENCE AMULETS New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC A collection of 19 faience amulets, predominantly in the form of pomegranates. Each fruit amulet is rounded with a flared calyx, a flat underside, and a suspension loop at the top. Included in the collection are examples of the Isis knot, designed as a looped form with extended arms resembling a stylised ankh.
