COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN FAIENCE DEITY AMULETS.
New Kingdom to Late Period, Ca. 1550 - 332 BC
A collection of 10 faience deity amulets, each in bright turquoise or blue glaze, moulded as a standing or squatting figure on an integral rectangular base. The group includes the dwarf god Pataikos, the air god Shu, and the jackal-headed Anubis, together with the child god (Harpocrates) and other protective figures.
Size: 12-19mm x 8-10mm; Weight: 8.6g.
Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Germany; formerly with Kurt Deppert collection, Munich, 1970s.
