COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN STEATITE AND STONE SCARABS. Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A group of four steatite scarabs and a single lenticular stone seal, each with a domed upper section and flat, engraved underside. The scarabs display variations in body proportions and surface detailing, with three featuring deeply cut elytra divisions and one rendered with smoother contours. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
