COLLECTION OF FIVE POCKET PISTOLS. Ca. 19th Century AD. A lot of five pocket pistols, all of which have proof-marks to the underside of the barrel. The first gun is a rare double-barrelled example, the second is the only flintlock of the group, and the fifth gun with a lighter-coloured wooden handle appears to have a working mechanism. Size: 110-115mm x 155-200mm; Weight: 1.2kg Provenance: From the private collection of an Essex gentleman; previously in an old British Collection, formed in the 1980s.
