COLLECTION OF GREEK BLACK-GLAZED OFFERING VESSELS. Ca. 400 - 300 BC A collection of three black-glazed terracotta vessels, including, from left to right: a squat mug with a rounded body, a short flaring lip, and a single strap handle springing from the shoulder; a skyphos with a deep cup, a plain rim, two horizontal handles, and a low ring foot; and a skyphos with twin handles and a ring foot, decorated in added colour with a profile female head on one face and a chimera on the other, the two panels separated by upright palmettes with scrolling tendrils beneath the handles. Size: 100-145mm x 75-95mm; Weight: 480g. Private London collection; previously acquired on the Belgium art market; originally in the collection of D Bogaerts, Brussels 1990’s.
