COLLECTION OF GREEK GEOMETRIC PERIOD BRONZE ANIMAL FIGURINES.
Ca. 800 - 600 BC.
A pair of bronze animal figurines, including, from left to right: a compact caprid with a stocky body standing four-square with a long tail; the head set proud with prominent, upturned horns and a small beard; and a lively horse shown in mid-stride with arched neck and outstretched legs.
