COLLECTION OF HELLENISTIC GOLD OPENWORK ORNAMENTS Ca. 300 - 100 BC A collection of three gold ornaments, each in the form of an openwork bead with a nearly spherical structure. The body is composed of finely intertwined gold wires arranged in a lattice pattern. The wires have a twisted texture and are interspersed with small gold granules at their junctions. The beads feature evenly spaced openings, creating a cage-like appearance. Size: 20-25mm x 15-15mm; Weight: 10g Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Private collection 1970s-1990s.
