COLLECTION OF PHOENICIAN GLASS BEADS.
Ca. 600 - 400 BC A collection of 13 beads comprising globular, biconical, tubular and rectangular forms in opaque glass, each decorated with marvered trails, concentric eye roundels and millefiori designs in combinations of yellow, green, red, white, blue and black. Size: 7.1-20.9mm x 14-23.5mm; Weight: 66.8g. Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Private collection 1970s-1990s; Reputedly from the Dr. Nolte collection, acquired in the early to mid 20th Century AD.
