AD 1 - 300 A collection of three gold earrings, including, from left to right: a matched pair of hoop earrings, each with a loop suspending a drop formed of rings, a baluster element, a square-section inlaid cell and a tapering rod, above a terminal of two spherical pearls; and a single earring with a hoop fronted by a spiral and suspending a long pendant composed of a ribbed cylindrical spacer, above a vertical rod threaded with two round pearls. Size: 60-70mm x 26-30mm; Weight: 14.4g. Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Munich, Germany in the 1990s.
