COLLECTION OF ROMAN POLYCHROME GLASS BANGLES. Ca. AD 1 - 300 A collection of four glass bangles, including, from left to right: a pale green bangle with an applied trail of black and yellow glass edged with blue and white trails; a pale green bangle with a broad rounded outer rib formed by a spiralling trail of opaque yellow and red glass with yellow and black border; another pale green bangle with a central raised band of alternating yellow and red glass bordered by blue, white and black trails; and a black bangle with a single twisted yellow and black trail running around the exterior. Size: 70-80mm x 70-80mm; Weight: 100g. Provenance: From a British collection formed in the 1990s; previously acquired in Germany. For similar see: T.
