COLLECTION OF SELJUK/BYZANTINE BRONZE OIL LAMPS Ca. AD 800 - 1100. A collection of five bronze oil lamps and lamp fillers. The first is set on a tripod with an arched spout and an ivy-leaf-shaped nozzle. The second features a polygonal-shaped body with vertical walls and a nozzle enlarged at the flared border. The third has a small tubular body with a short leaf-shaped handle. The fourth is an oil filler with a hemispheroid body resting on a round foot and a short spout. The fifth is another oil filler with a hemispheroid body, two leaf-shaped handles, and a long, thin spout for pouring oil.
