COLLECTION OF XENON WARE VESSELS Ca. 320 - 280 BC. A collection of three Xenon ware vessels, each decorated with red pigment on a glossy black ground. The one on the left is a kantharos with a squat body, high-arching handles, and a wide flaring rim, painted with a central frieze of chevrons enclosed within a red-bordered panel. The middle vessel is a trefoil-lipped oinochoe with a globular body and broad neck, featuring a chevron frieze around the shoulder and a band of key-pattern around the midsection.
