Louis XIV period curved front chest of drawers by Thomas Hache
Top and three drawers decorated with "Italian" marquetry (foliate scrolls, fillets and flowers on a burnt walnut background) in reserves, a large central diamond veneered with four-leaf threaded olive tree on a background of speckled and cloudy blond-tinted sycamore burls; drop handles, ormolu keyholes and masks of Ceres, 83x129x63 cm . Thomas Hache (1664-1747), cabinetmaker to the Duc d'Orléans in Grenoble, circa 1715-1720.
