A rare pair of torches in white marble, finely chased and gilded bronze and bronze with a brown patina.
They stand on four bent feet supporting a wide white marble base adorned with chased and gilded bronze and topped by a double patina bronze subject topped by a torch with a twisted shaft and acanthus leaf rim.
Late Louis XVI - Directoire period.
