A carved, moulded and gilded wooden console table with a flowing design, the openwork moulding featuring a rocaille medallion with a Greek fret motif, traversed by a garland of ribbon-wrapped laurel leaves continuing down the sides and winding round the base, where the legs are joined by a symmetrical rocaille medallion. Top in grey marble veined with white, in the shape of 18th-century piece, transitional between the Louis XV and Louis XVI styles. Height 84.5 cm. Width 115.5 cm. Depth 58 cm. Metal reinforcements and minor chips to the gilding. Restoration to the rear left corner of the marble top.
