Aaron Rahe studied art and philosophy in Oldenburg and continued his studies at the Berlin University of the Arts, where he graduated as a master student in 2015. His works have been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Germany and abroad, including London, Berlin, Strasbourg and Hamburg. In his painterly works, he oscillates between dense colour applied in relief and delicate glazes, which allows his compositions to oscillate between almost sculptural materiality and transparent layers of paint, giving the works a special depth.
