PAIR OF CLOISONNÉ BRONZE VASES, CHINA, 18TH CENTURY, FOUR-CHARACTER QIANLONG MARK POSSIBLY FROM THE PERIOD Cast with a bottle body resting on a slender short foot and a narrower neck and a slightly protruding mouth rim, decorated in bright cloisonné enamels with lotus blooms amongst foliate stems, all against a bright turquoise ground the back and the front with two lobed cartouches with painted landscape, the base incised with a four characters reign mark.
