CORBIÈRE Tristan (1845-1875). Les Amours jaunes. Paris, Léon Vanier, 1891; in-12, Bradel-covered vellum, boards tinted yellow and decorated with a border of three fillets, smooth spine decorated with gilt foliage and a faun's head, blue head, cover (Paul Vié). Second edition of Tristan Corbière's only collection, first published in 1873. Unnoticed when it was first published, Les Amours jaunes was given pride of place some ten years later by Verlaine in his essay on poètes maudits. Félix Fénéon wrote a preface to this edition and added an unpublished poem. One of 12 copies of the first edition on jonquille paper. From the Henry Cochin library with engraved bookplate.
