In-12, fawn calf, spine decorated, red edges (period binding). First edition, published in Nancy. The work was withdrawn from sale following a complaint from the city of Genoa, which felt it had been mistreated. It has also been wrongly attributed to de Lavilleheurnois and Antoine Chevrier.
Copy complete with the large folding map of the isle of Corsica divided by its provinces or jurisdictions, & fiefs, engraved after François.
Binding worn, corners and headpieces missing, tears without missing in the margin of the map, tape repair on verso. Some marginal annotations in pencil.
