19th century Sèvres porcelain bowl Intaglio marks, stamp mark in blue LP crowned SEVRES and 1845, printed mark in red for the Château de Saint Cloud, gilder's mark Decorated in gold with a large frieze of palmettes and a garland of ivy set against an agate blue background, restorations, minor wear. D. 22 cm. Provenance: From the "frieze of palmettes printed in gold with rosettes in the middle of the pieces that are likely" service commissioned in 1833 by King Louis-Philippe for the châteaux of Saint-Cloud and Compiègne.
