Knife Carved from a single piece of wood, with a steel blade. The solid handle is finely carved on one side with the surname ‘A Margareiter’ against a dotted background, with the borders highlighted by a frieze of stylised foliage and fleurs-de-lis. The other side is decorated with a cobbler’s tools, featuring a stool and two pairs of shoes awaiting repair. Bears the date ‘1894’ and borders decorated with a frieze of foliage.
