Officer's cross of the military order of Savoy. A very fine metal cross with four equal lanceolate branches covered in white enamel. Between the arms is a garland of oak on the right and laurel on the left, enamelled in green. On the obverse, in the centre of the cross, on a red enamelled medallion is a Savoy cross in white enamel around which is written, in a circle in red or white enamel, Al Merito Militare. The centre back is missing. The ribbon is trimmed with a red stripe between two azure blue stripes, with a complete rosette. Some wear and patina. Condition II+.
