CROSS-SHAPED BROOCH - former Kofler-Truniger collection
Early Carolingian, second half of the 8th century AD.
Gilt bronze. With intertwined ornaments in champlevé technique. Braided band at the corners of the cross arms. Hinge of the needle present, needle missing.
4 × 4 cm.
