Double folding spoon
In horn engraved with chatiron motifs. The spoon is decorated on both sides with religious motifs, including the trigrammaton of Christ, surmounted by a cross, and the Virgin's name "Maria" in mixed letters. The border imitates a shell. The reverse is richly decorated with a pitiful Jesus and a Mater dolorosa, in two ovals flanked by and above the first names "Jesus" and "Maria". The border is underlined by an elaborate festoon and lines imitating rope and a flowerette. Brass hook imitating a horse's head or a seahorse Brass hinge.
