CURIOSITY. Job (after) "La grande Guerre" Coffee set consisting of coffee pot, sugar bowl, 6 cups and saucers in porcelain decorated in polychrome, by A. Lanternier & Cie Limoges. The subjects of the cups represent English and French soldiers, a shooter on a plane, a gas attack, a break, daytime supplies, a wheeled vehicle. TBE Manufacture Lanternier & Cie worked from 1857 to 1960. It marketed the La grande Guerre series, designed by Job, in 1917.
