VENERIE DAGGER Silver and ebony mounting. Handle squared ebony. Silver hilt, chased body knot with two inverted two inverted quillons with dog heads, cock and goldsmith hallmark. Straight blade in the scabbard. Wooden scabbard covered with two silver trimmings. Chape with boar's head, horn and cobwebs. Bouterole decorated with arrows. First Empire period. Total length: 70 cm PROVENANCE : - Roger de Montégudet collection (1880-1925) - by descent to this day.
