NAVAL OFFICER'S DAGGER First Empire period Handle with striated decoration. Brass mounting. Pommel with melon ribs. Crosspiece with two inverted S-shaped quillons, anchor knot, shell semis reverse. Chain guard. Straight blade with median flat, engraved in thirds, of Solingen, with gold remains with the heel. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Shell toggle. Length: 50 cm. B.E.
