SS dagger model 1933 Alcoso. Produced among the first series, this specimen has the characteristic to have received the serial number of its owner 22993 struck under the guard. All the fittings are in nickel silver. The Roman numeral I stamped on the back of the hilt indicates that this model passed through the SS control and distribution centre in München. The fuse is in perfect condition, as is the blade, whose engraving is of very high quality. The Alcoso manufacturer's marking is exceptional, as it is very rarely found on SS daggers (only a few examples are known to exist in collections). The scabbard has nickel silver fittings and 95% black lacquer paint. This piece is in very good condition and is one of the daggers that can be described as very rare. The grip is in perfect condition as is the blade, whose motto etching is of excellent quality. The Alcoso maker mark is exceptionally rare on SS daggers, with only a few known examples. The scabbard retains its nickel silver fittings and 95% of its original black lacquer finish. Very fine condition, among the rarest SS daggers.
